Jailing Pooloo is too harsh, then all those who kiss their children should be jailed – Popular Radio Presenter Fumes
In responding to the outcome of Akuapem Pooloo’s court case, a renowned Kumasi based Sweet FM’s presenter, Dj Pizarro who is also the CEO for the TAG NATION RECORDS has expressed his worry that the sentence is too harsh on her.
The radio/mobile Disk jockey of the said station in an exclusive interview with trendingghana.net indicated that it is too harsh to send her to jail knowing for sure that the child is her own son who came out of her and so there isn’t any problem taking a picture with him in that manner.
”This is too harsh, he is her own child who came out of her, so what is wrong if she does that? Won’t this same child be the person to take care of her should she die naked?” He sadly asked.
He later threw a challenge that if this is what has happended to Poloo then all those kissing their children too should be arrested and jailed.
” Do they know what have been happening in people’s closets? If this is the case does it mean those who have been kissing their babies are teaching them lesbianism? Then they should also be arrested and jailed. He said.
He cited examples where according to him, there are important issues to be dealt with and not when a mother takes a photo with her son while naked.
He was worried why the Kasoa boys are still not jailed up till now but this single mother has been jailed sadly.
” We are all here when some people sadly took the life of an innocent child but up till now we have not heard any jail terms, but a photo alone has sent someone to jail. This is not nice as a nation.Even house arrest could have been okay but to jail her this way is not good at all.” He voiced out.
Akuapem Poloo has been sentenced to 90 days imprisonment on Friday and this has got a lot of celebrities talking and appealing that she should be pardoned.
The recent one came from NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi who tweeted that Akuffo Addo should step in and pardon her.
