Fixing Ourselves And Fixing The Country Are Two Different Conversations – Efia Odo

A Ghanaian socialite and media personality Andrea Owusu popularly known as Efia Odo is seems not to stop her campaign of the need to fix the country by our leaders any time soon.

Efia Odo is one of the many Ghanaians who championed the ’Fix the country’ campaign virtual protest on the 9th of May, 2021 after the Accra circuit court secured an injunction against the conveners.

While some Ghanaians are saying the country need to be fixed by our leaders and the government, some sections are of the view that the citizens need to fix their mindset rather than tasking the government.

The actress believe that, it is the government solely duty to fix the country by creating jobs for the youths, creating enable environment, good roads and portable water and other basic needs.

In a Facebook post sighted by trendinghana.net , the social media guru criticized and quizzed those who believed that Ghanaians have to fix their mind and behavior before the country is fixed.

“ You are saying fix yourself but you are sitting at home and you don’t even have a job! You have applied to many places yet no one has called you for work. Are you not tired of being jobless?” She quizzes.

She however said fixing oneself and fixing a country are two different things hence people should not see it to be one. She believe that though everyone need to fix him or herself but the nation need to be fix for the betterment of our future.

“ Fixing ourselves and fixing the country are two conversations. Everyone in this life needs to fix themselves but we are talking about fixing our nation for the betterment of our future” she wrote.

For some time now the social media influencer (Efia Odo) has been tackling the government from one angle to another for the leadership of the country to fix the unemployment problem.
