BOMBSHELL: Ghana music industry lacks competent leadership; causing poor performance. – A Ghanaian Gospel Artiste fumes

A Ghanaian gospel artiste Deacon Agyemang Badu has registered his concern about the Ghana music industry with regards to gospel songs.

Deacon Agyemang Badu has attributed the failure of Ghana music industry to perform to lack of leaders with managerial skills.

In an interview with The Award Winning Gospel Presenter, DJ Smart (Eld) on LIFE FM, an Offinso based radio monitored by trendingsongs.net, Deacon Agyemang Badu opined that the Ghana music industry or Musiga lacks competent leaders with vision that could take the said industry to the peak, hence preventing artists from performing to the expectation.

Deacon Badu in comparison, compared some past leaders of the industry to Madam Augustina Addison.

According to him unlike the others, an award program was first organised in Kumasi on the ticket of Madam Augustina even though she is a woman..

“Even though Madam Augustina is a woman, she was able to do what men couldn’t do, so assuming she is not appointed as leader of the industry,  you can imagine all these good ideas lying vacant in her mind” Said Deacon Agyemang Badu

The gospel musician however is confident that with competent leaders, Ghana music industry will rise higher than before.
