BEING GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO DOESN’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH FINANCIAL ISSUES – KUMI GUITAR
The “Break into Two” hitmaker in an interview with Dr Eye on the Showbiz Boutique on Omega 91.1fm FM brought to the notice of the public that being good at what you do doesn’t have anything to do with financial issues.
He said ” Our people are well discerning and when you are mentioning names of good musicians or writers you won’t say you’ll leave me out, for which I’m very grateful but I don’t think it has anything to do with financial issues”.
According to him, when you are good, people already know what you can offer and it makes them love you more and to the extent of even attracting more investors to invest in you.
“When you are good, by God’s grace people already know what you can offer so I think even if I’m fortunate I might even have people or other investors who would come to the label and say, we want to help you invest in this artist because we think he is good, and I also think if we are also able to bring out an album or a single out, I still have fans that would love to hear from me than to say because they know there are financial challenges they won’t listen to me anymore.” He revealed.
He made this known when he was asked whether he lost fans when their label boss had issues with some sections of the Ghanaian people.
